"The Playoffs?!"

"Nobody's picking us to win the series..."Jason Spezza (Senators forward) told the A.P.
He said that after the Sens' beat the Pens' (ha) in game one of round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
I laughed when I read what he said because honestly if putting yourself out as the underdog, us-against-the world stereotype is not the most overused cliche in sports, then I don't know what is.
Nearly every article I found about the game had the word- surprise - in it. As in, the Senators "surprise" the Penguins and win. Really? I doubt it was a surprise to the Penguins, because most often you don't walk into a game arrogantly believing you'll win. Obviously, players believe in themselves and their teammates. Believe that they can win. But, I don't think they go so far as to be surprised at a loss. They're professionals, they know anything can happen.

I think the Penguins can rebound if Fleury plays at the level he did last year. His GAA was 2.61 and his SV% was .908. during the Pens' Stanley Cup Winning playoff escapade. This season his SV% was .905 and his GAA was 2.65. So, the numbers haven't dipped much, of course you have to take into account the number of regular season games played versus playoff games- but still.
I think that they can win it again if he keeps form and plays like he played last year.
